Trips & Activities
The Community Support Services program plans an average of 25 trips and activities each year for people served so they can stay busy with friends and active in the community. Below are just a few of those planned trips, vacations and activities.
VACATIONSMany people served in the CSS program enjoy vacations to different parts of the world. If requested, Siffrin staff assist people in planning and accompanies them to ensure health and safety while seeing the world. Tom had a fantastic vacation to Hawaii! Other vacations have included Canada, Niagra Falls, Florida, and various cruises. | OVERNIGHT TRIPSOvernight trips are organized for people interested in traveling in tour groups. Bob sits on the fountain wall at the National Garden Sculpture Garden in Washington D.C. Other trips include New York City; Hershey, Pennsylvania; Dearborn, Michigan and much more. | SPORT EVENTSDon lounges in a box at the Lake Erie Monsters hockey game. |

DAY TRIPSSmaller, more budget-friendly day trips are organized to accommodate people who are interested. The group traveled to the Longaberger Basket Company in Newark, Ohio. Other trips have included Amish Country, Put-In-Bay, Columbus Zoo, Cedar Point, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Christmas Light Displays like Oglebay, Pennsylvania. | BOWLING LEAGUEAppropriately named "Siffrin Turkeys" for the amount of 3 strikes in a row that are made, the bowling league is a favorite among the bowlers in CSS. The bowling league meets every Saturday from August to March and have a celebration banquet at the end of the season. | SUMMER PICNICEach year, the Community Support Services program organizes a day at Baylor Beach Park for everyone served. It's a great day to enjoy the sunshine and many activities available at the park, not to mention the great picnic food! |
