Project SEARCH is a vocational training program for young adults. Participants gain the needed work skills to be competitive and marketable so that they may become permanently employed in the community. As a whole, the Project SEARCH program achieves a 70% hire rate for the participants.

Participants in Project SEARCH become more confident and independent throughout the internship experience. They learn how to work and communicate with peers and supervisory personnel. Siffrin staff at Project SEARCH offer the support needed to learn and grow.
18 years of age or older
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Strong desire to work and learn new work skills
Reliable & punctual
Ability to communicate
Willingness and ability to access independent transportation options
Drug screen and background check approval
Medicaid waiver, RSC funding or self-pay options
Siffrin initiated the Project SEARCH program in Stark County in January 2009 at Aultman Hospital. Aultman executive and personnel have been instrumental in the success of Project SEARCH.
Departments throughout Aultman Health Foundation welcome the Project SEARCH interns into their work site and help them to learn and train on the job.
Since 2009, additional local businesses have become supporters of Project SEARCH and now serve as "internship sites" for the program.
