The Collective Palette Studio, established in 2015 is a collaboration between Siffrin, REM Ohio, Western Reserve Independent Living Center and the Trumbull County Board of DD. With the combined effort of these agencies, The Collective Palette Studio is able to support and encourage approximately 75 artists with disabilities annually by providing a space in downtown Warren at Courthouse Square for creating, displaying, and selling their work.

The Collective Palette Studio and Siffrin have been awarded a matching grant from the Ohio Arts Council for Empowering Artist with Disabilities. This grant will allow artists to engage in activities including art classes, educational trips, exhibitions, and the sale of their work. Since the grant, the artists have had an exhibition at the Art Outreach Gallery in the Eastwood Mall, interviewed with WYTV, and participated in a juried exhibition in Youngstown’s YWCA in the Women Artists category.

Providing funds through June of 2018, the grant was made possible by fundraising efforts of Siffrin in Mahoning County, Ross Burge-REM Ohio, Pam Davies-Western Reserve ILC, and Linda Tiihonen-TCBDD, and The Ohio Arts Council, partially funded by state tax dollars allocated by the Ohio Legislature.
